Winter hot apple juice

The ideal drink to make a Christmas tree decoration more festive and enjoyable. Spices and apples always go well together and create a real taste of winter holidays. For an adult version kavaldos or brandy will help to warm up and lift your spirits. For children, serve as it is, without adding alcohol.
Ingredients
- 600 ml apple juice
- 2 large cinnamon sticks
- 2 pcs. star anise
- 6 pcs. cloves
- 3 pcs. cardamom
- 1 apple
- 300 ml cavaldos or brandy (You can skip it)
1) Wash the apple, cut out the core and dice.
2) Place apple juice, spices and apple in a saucepan. Bring to a boil over low heat . Then turn off the heat. Add alkohol if using and stir.
3) Pour in warm mugs * or glasses along with apple pieces. Serve immediately!
Do not throw away the apple pieces, they make a great fragrant treat.
* To warm mugs or cups up for hot drinks - rinse them with boiling water just before pouring the beverage into.
P.S. This drink can be prepared several hours ahead and pour into a preheated thermos. From this it becomes even more aromatic and tastier.
