Marinated chicken breasts in a Greek style

Simple flavorful and not boring dish in Greek style. Oregano, garlic and lemon scent the meat with incredible aroma and make the meat tender and soft.
Ingredients
- 2 chicken breasts
- 3 tbsp olive oil
Marinade:
- 1 lemon, juice and zest
- 1 tsp dried oregano
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
1) Rinse chicken breasts under cold running water. Dry with paper towel and put in a small bowl.
2) Make the marinade: mix the lemon zest and juice, oregano, salt, olive oil and squeeze the garlic in. Mix well and pour marinade over the chicken breasts.
3) Drench the meat in the marinade on all sides, so it spread evenly, cover with cling film and refrigerate for 1 -2 hours.
4) Remove the meat from the refrigerator 30 minutes before cooking and leave to reach the room temperature.
5) Heat a frying pan, preferably a pan-grill, and rub the surface of it with olive oil. Remove meat from the marinade, shake off excess marinade, pat dry with paper towel and place on preheated pan.
Flip the meat on the other side after 5-6 minutes. Fry the chicken breasts over medium heat until tender, about 12-15 minutes.
Serve warm or cold with vegetables or any other side dish.
